From the Pastor's pen...
From last week’s message to what
the week has transpired for me,
I am certainly aware of the human weaknesses I possess in light of
being the person God wants me to be. Am I giving God glory in what I
say and do? Am I exercising Godly leadership in how I manage things
and relate to people? Am I demonstrating the love and humility that is
necessary to mirror the heart of Jesus? This week has been a timely
reminder that no matter what level of leadership I am, the love of
people comes first, the love of God comes first and I must draw out
from within the things that shows God to all people despite the
circumstances. May God continue to stretch and grow us all as people
of God, who seek to love and live in the light of Him. May all we say,
and do, and give Him Glory and demonstrate his love and grace.

Christmas Carols Night - CHANGE OF DATE -
Sunday 18th December at the Church.
Due to circumstances, we will now be having a traditional Christmas
Carols night at the church on Sunday, 18th December at the church.
There will be a special supper after the service to share with the
community. Start inviting your friends and neighbours to this service
as we celebrate Christmas season.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast -
The last men’s breakfast for
this year will take place at Lynwood Christian Church next Saturday
December 3rd, starting at 7am. All are welcome. Barry Cleminson.
Blankets for Bengalis -
Most of the Ruma Abedona Hospice
(in India) terminally ill patients will be very cold this winter as
they don't have a blanket to warm and comfort them. Imagine the joy on
their faces when they receive a blanket, some for the very first time.
Santanu and his nurses can share in this joy as they distribute
blankets to those in desperate need this Christmas. We can help. We
have so much and they have so little.
We can share Christ's love this Christmas too by donating $20 for a
blanket. Use the special envelopes provided and place in the bag with
your regular offering. Thank you.

Please consider buying a
long roll of Christmas paper for the shoebox ministry when it goes on
sale. Thank you.
